Prior to joining EnergyTag, Alex was a senior associate in the Rocky Mountain Institute’s US Program, where he worked on clean hydrogen and industrial decarbonization policy. Alex helped lead policy engagement on 45V clean hydrogen production tax credit implementation and hydrogen demand-side incentives, convened financial and hydrogen industry stakeholders to tease out challenges and opportunities in the policy space, and authored thought leadership pieces on “three pillars” hourly matching rules for the 45V tax credit. Alex also focused on aviation, fertilizer, and steel decarbonization efforts. Alex previously spent nearly six years as staff in the United States Congress, serving as senior legislative assistant for then-Congressman Peter Welch (VT), handling the energy, environment, and agriculture portfolio, and junior legislative assistant for Senator Patrick Leahy (VT).
Farida is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Renewable Energy under the prestigious InnoEnergy program. As part of her academic journey, she is conducting her thesis work with EnergyTag, where she serves as an Energy Analyst Intern. Farida holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electromechanical Engineering from KU Leuven, where she developed a strong foundation in engineering principles. Before her current academic pursuits, she earned a Master’s degree in International Business Economics and Management, showcasing her multidisciplinary approach to addressing global energy challenges. Farida is passionate about driving sustainable solutions for a greener future.
