Catalyst Power, in partnership with Granular Energy, has launched an hourly‑matched clean energy product for commercial & industrial businesses in the U.S., designed to align with evolving Scope 2 emissions accounting guidance. By automating hourly matching between electricity consumption and renewable generation, the product offers businesses greater transparency and more credible data for their decarbonization efforts.
The hourly‑matched product is one of the first U.S. retail energy offerings that aligns with emerging hourly carbon‑accounting guidance under the GHG Protocol, helping commercial & industrial customers improve the credibility and transparency of their Scope 2 emissions claims.
In partnership with Granular Energy, the solution leverages RECs together with real‑time data to align generation and consumption on an hourly basis, rather than relying on annual estimates.
