WEF Global Future Leaders Annual Meeting Concludes in Dubai
Killian Daly recently participated in the World Economic Forum’s Annual Meeting of Global Future Leaders in Dubai, joining international delegates to discuss emerging policy, economic, and industrial trends.
During the annual meeting, Killian convened a dedicated session titled “Two Energy Systems.” The presentation analysed the structural co-existence of current global energy infrastructures, demonstrating that while the present economy remains reliant on “molecules” (fossil fuels), industrial frameworks are rapidly transitioning toward “electrons” (electrification). The session outlined that this shift is accelerated by three primary macroeconomic drivers: energy security, market competitiveness, and climate mitigation targets. Killian concluded the session by showing how firm, round-the-clock renewable generation will form the operational foundation of this new energy paradigm.
The week also served as an international networking forum for the 2026 class of The Forum of Young Global Leaders.
